Football Helmet

Dylan has been begging for us to buy him a helmet but I keep telling him that he will get one in July when he starts football practice. Well, he was not going to wait any longer so he made his own.

T-Bones Game

Ann, Ricky, Jennifer, Chris, Karsen and Owynne all met at our house and then we headed to the T-Bones game. Yes, we had to tailgate and we had delicious grilled hamburgers, pasta salad, fruit/dip, veggies/dip, chips, strawberry pie and brownies. The weather was perfect and the T-Bones won!!!!

Paradise Donuts

I drove by a new donut shop last week and knew that we would have to try it sometime soon.

They have a donut called "Peanut Butter Flip". It is a donut folded in half with yummy peanut butter frosting inside and chocolate on the outside. Pretty darn good!!!!

Rockin' the Night Away

We had fun at Old Shawnee Days listening to 3 Tribute bands. One band played songs from "Guns & Roses", another played "Journey" and the last band played "AC/DC.

Dylan and the fake "SLASH" from the tribute band for "Guns & Roses."

Michael is doing a great job playing the invisible keyboard!

Kelly and I enjoying the nice evening

Michael and Chris gazing at the stars!

Cass and her friend Alissa look like a couple of hippies!

The fake AC/DC band was actually really good. Dylan was given a drum stick that was used during the show.

My little rocker!

Deanna Rose Farmstead

We went to the Deanna Rose Farmstead today since I had another day off. The weather was perfect so it made it even more enjoyable.

Back to work tomorrow! (but only a half day and then off to the movies)

I enjoyed my day off today! I had a Starbucks coffee, did laundry, read my new book and took the kids skating.

Homemade Washboard

Dylan had so much fun playing the washboard that he has decided to ask Santa for one but in the meantime he has made his own.
