We Survived Seven Basketball Games!

OK! Now I need another weekend to do laundry and rest. I have also decided that I might need to invest in a soft bleacher seat if we are going to continue having this many games every weekend.

We even made time to go out for brunch with Grandpa and Marge at Cinzetti's. It was really good!!

Oh, by the way Dylan is shooting hoops right now out back! Thank goodness he LOVES basketball!

Blogger.com has been down!!!

It drives me crazy when I want to blog but can not because the website is down so this blog is just a collection of things.

This week I made snickerdoodle blondies and I am definitely keeping this recipe.

Thursday I had the day off and enjoyed the new Mocha Coconut Frappuccino.

I also made cookie dough fudge but I really do not have a recipe because I combined two of my own recipes together. It was VERY good.

Cass brought home her last sewing project. She did a great job on her pillow and it looks really cute on her bed.

Dylan has already played in one game and we have 6 more basketball games to go this weekend. Busy busy weekend!!!

Happy Mother's Day

My morning started off with a Starbucks coffee, an Egg McMuffin and a card.

My family took me to Legends to eat at Nick-N-Willy's Pizza and do a little shopping at Nebraska Furniture Mart.

Then off to Dylan's basketball game! They were behind most of the game and pulled out ahead when it counted. Good job!
This evening Michael grilled filet mignon and made stuffed mushrooms and french fries. I also enjoyed some quiet time on the family swing drinking a mint julep. Thanks family for a great day!

Happy Mother's Day to my mom and sister. I hope you both had a wonderful day because you deserve it!

Cross Country Event

Dylan entered a 4th grade cross country event today. He just told us about it last night so I am glad we had nothing planned.

Dylan got 5th place out of 16! Not bad for his first cross country run. Good job Dylan!

Pizza and Miniature Golf

We had a fun date night with Ann and Ricky. We ate dinner at Art of Pizza and my hamburger pizza was really good.

Then we played 18 holes of miniature golf and the weather was beautiful. Of course I started the game off right and I hit the ball in the water and Michael had to fish it out.

We always have such a good time and next month's date is already planned!

Sewing Project #3

WOW! Cass made a gym bag for her third sewing project. There is no way that I could make one that looked that good! I can not wait to see the last project. Wonder what it will be???

A Good Time with Grandma and Grandpa

Dylan had a basketball tournament this weekend so Grandma and Grandpa came to cheer him on. Friday night Dylan had a 7pm game so we stopped before the game and ate dinner at d'Bronx.

Good job Dylan! We are very proud of you!!!

Cass and Grandpa

Today Dylan walked into the family room with a homemade Celtics shirt and Cass with a homemade sign on her shirt. He was cheering for the Celtics to win and Cass was cheering for Miami Heat.

Dylan had taken an old white t-shirt and a green marker and made a shirt. (I had no idea that he was making a shirt)

I made a BBQ chicken braid and we really liked it!

I also liked the balsamic black bean salsa but........

I loved my cafe mocha cupcakes! Great way to end the weekend!
