Happy Mother's Day

Well, I was up at 6:45am so I could go to a basketball game.

Then when I got home Cass was awake and she took me to Starbucks and bought me a coffee.

After my delicious caramel macchiato we went to the Golf Club of Kansas.  First thing was miniature golf and it did not end well for me.

Daddy won but at least I did not get last place:)

We went to the driving range next which was a first for Cass and I.  Daddy was trying to help Cass out.

I look like a pro NOT!!

Dylan did very well.

Then off to the batting cages which was also a first for us.  I kicked their butts!

Perfect form

Cass was not successful hitting the ball.

Go Dylan

When we got home Cass and Dylan made me soft chopped M&M cookies.  Thanks kiddos!

Cass was in charge of chopping the M&M's.

Michael made me a Mother's Day gift.

He made me a foot rest for when I am sitting in my swing on the deck.

He still needs to stain it but I love it.

Michael also surprised me and ordered my favorite cajun seasoning that I love and I also got Oprah Chai tea that I can not wait to try.

My wonderful children put stuffed jalapenos on the grill and Michael is grilling filet mignon.

Cass was a little scared of burning herself.

Thanks family for a wonderful Mother's Day.  Happy Mother's Day to my Mom and Sister!

Michael's New Project

Michael decided to build his own arcade game for the garage.  Yes, he built it himself and it has nine different games on it.

This is the insides of the game and the controls. (actually he bought better controls after using these)

Finished product!!

I have a feeling Dylan's friends will be enjoying this during summer break.

It is right up against the refrigerator that holds the beer and pop so Michael and Dylan won't have to go far for their beverages!!

I really don't think there are any limits of what Michael can make. Good job!

A Special Surprise!

I found this on my desk this morning when I got to work from someone who apparently knows me.

Beautiful flowers in a cool whiskey bottle.

Thank you Alexandria!  I absolutely love them!!

A Beautiful Day at Deanna Rose Farmstead

We enjoyed a gorgeous day at Deanna Rose Farmstead. I woke up this morning and told Michael that I wanted to have a picnic since Cass didn't have to work.  Michael suggested the farm and I couldn't believe that the kids actually got excited about it.  Dylan said that he has so many memories going as a kid so he couldn't wait. (I love that kid)

Boys having fun fishing!

YAY! They both caught some fish.

They were trying to bother Michael and Dylan while they were fishing.

Switch (the band)

Tonight we went to Jerry's Bait Shop with my friend Lorie to hear the band "Switch". They played cover songs and they were really good!!

The band started at 9pm so I was out way past my bedtime.

I am so glad I was able to stay up because I had lots of fun.

A Fun Evening with Mom and Dad

I had a training in Wichita today so my friends and I drove down yesterday. Mom and Dad drove up and took me out to dinner (and my friends came also)  at Heros Bar and Grill. They had jalapeno corn fritters that were outstanding and extremely spicy.

Then we all went to the Warren theater and saw the movie "The Other Woman".  There were some really funny parts and we laughed a lot.

It was great to be able to spend some time with my Mom and Dad! Thanks Mom and Dad for driving up to see me.
