ALDS Championship Game With My Son
Tonight I had the best night with Dylan. Michael is out of town this week so I stepped out of my box and drove to Kauffman Stadium for the first time but it was worth it.
Dylan and I even tailgated.
All that work for two lonely hot dogs.
WOW! There is a little bit of a crowd.
GO ROYALS!
Cueto did an amazing job pitching.
We won and it was an absolutely amazing experience and I am so glad I was with my son.
Making memories that will last a lifetime.

Pumpkin Carving
Cass had her friend Emily come over so she could carve her first pumpkin. She did a great job cleaning it out!
Then Cass showed Dylan a picture of a jack-o-lantern and Dylan did the actual carving.
Great teamwork!!

KC Pumpkin Patch
It's official! The pumpkin patch isn't as fun as it use to be. This is probably the last time for the Arnott family.
Shooting some barnyard basketball
At least they had a slide for the boys to do.
PUMPKINS
We found our pumpkin but Cass didn't want to carry it.

A Little Sightseeing in North Carolina
Stacie and I went to a training this week and had some time in the evenings to do a little sightseeing. The first night we got in late but had enough time to go to the Carolina Brewery for dinner.
Then dessert at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt Bar.
One evening we went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (the first university to open) and this church was right next to campus.
Vance Hall (financial aid office) at UNC
The buildings on campus were beautiful.
View from the rocking chairs on the front porch of Maple View Dairy Farm.
They had the MOST delicious ice cream!!
Last night we went to Bennett Place State Historic Site. (the site where the largest surrender of the Civil War took place).
Unity Monument-the single top crosspiece that joins the two pillars represents the reuniting of the North and South.
Bennett House
Then we took a little nature walk through the woods.
The trees were so darn tall.
After our nature walk we took a road trip to Duke University.
Beautiful!
Stacie and I thoroughly enjoyed sushi at Kanki and that is why we had it twice in four days.
We went to a great training but I am glad to be home.
