Cass and I had fun at the Holiday Boutique. We may have purchased a few items.

JCYM Holiday Home Tour

Kasey and I went on the JCYM Holiday Home Tour. We got to see four very different homes but I only could get a picture of three of them.  The top one was my very favorite.

New Candy Cane Wheel

This year the candy cane wheel is HUGE.  It took more than one person to get this puppy up on the roof.

It took several stages of getting it up there.

We had a rope tied to the truck on the other side of the house and I got to drive forward to hoist the candy canes up.

We did it!!

The candy canes lit up and then it blew a breaker.  I truly feel like the Griswolds. It's working perfectly now and is ready to be turned on Thanksgiving night.  I am so proud of my boys who worked hard on this new piece.

This will be our biggest show yet!

A Very Relaxing and Enjoyable Day

I love my new t-shirt and I did exactly what it says all day today.

Cass and I watched three Hallmark movies and we are watching another one tonight.

I did get up and make jalapeño buffalo chicken bites, Texas queso dip and Reese's Pieces magic cookie bars.

What a perfect relaxing day!!

World Series Parade

What a crazy experience!! Today we celebrated the Kansas City Royals at the World Series parade.

This was Union Station at 9:30am before all the craziness started.

Union Station after the parade.  PURE CRAZINESS!!  Right now the estimated attendance is 500,000 people.

I am glad the four of us got to experience Kansas City coming together as a community and celebrating the Royals winning the World Series.

We are trying really hard to cheer on the Royals to win the World Series but so far we are behind by one.

Our blue drink tonight is blue curacao, cranberry sprite and coconut rum.  YUMMY!!

Happy 15th Birthday Dylan

Dylan turned 15 today! YIKES!! Dylan had a special breakfast of Dunkin Donuts, scrambled eggs and bacon.

After breakfast he opened his gifts and he got an "IN-N-OUT Burger" shirt, Jurassic World DVD, MLB.com gift card and a new pair of NIKES that will be here Thursday.

He wanted a Royals cookie cake.

Peyton, Calvin, and Dylan B. all came over to help celebrate Dylan's birthday.

They had a nice day for a game of wiffle ball.

Dylan chose T-bone steaks, mashed potatoes and grilled onions for his birthday dinner.

Happy Birthday Dylan!!  Come on Royals win the World Series for Dylan's birthday!! You won last night for Michael's so I know you can do it!!
