St. Patrick's Day

Pretty boring St. Patrick's Day.  Cass and Dylan wanted green donuts for breakfast. 

We snacked on Dubliner cheese.

Mason took a nap during the KU game.

Dylan got his pallet expander out and he was so HAPPY!!

Now a little pina colada sangria and more basketball.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Doughnut Lounge, Up/Down Arcade and Ruins Pub

We had a great evening with our friends Chris and Kelly. We started off by going to the Doughnut Lounge.

Doughnuts and espresso martinis...delicious!!

Then off to Up/Down KC the only adult arcade.  Kelly and I had fun playing skee ball and pinball.

We also stopped at Ruins Pub which has self serve beer. 

I actually did not find one I liked.

A Sunday Afternoon with Friends

We had a great Sunday afternoon with friends. Katie made us Dr. Pepper shredded pork, green rice, beans and I made Reese's peanut butter cup stuffed brownies with peanut butter frosting.

So Michael and Griffin are BFF's.  Seriously, Griffin LOVES Michael.

What a fun Sunday afternoon! Thanks Katie and Danny for the invite...we had a great time.

A Nice Start to Spring Break

Big 12 Championship game, comfy clothes, a nice fire, Mason at my feet and a cranberry orange sangria. Pretty good start to spring break!!!

Happy 19th Birthday Cass

Cass turned 19 today! On my way home from the gym I stopped to get Kolaches for breakfast for Cass. They are her favorite breakfast food.

She loves her new Jordans.

They are pretty cute!

Tonight we took her to her favorite place for dinner...Buffalo Wild Wings.

She was a happy girl.

Happy Birthday Cass Marie! I can't believe it has been 19 years! We love you more than you will ever know!

Girl Scout Cookie and Wine Paring Event

This afternoon Alysha, Adam, Michael and I went to the Girl Scout Wine Pairing event at KC Wine Co. It was a fun afternoon with cookies and wine.

After we went to KC Wine Co. we took a little road trip to White Trail Run Winery. That place is great because you pay $5 for 14 samples of wine.

Kauffman Stadium Tour

Today we celebrated Cass' birthday a few days early by going to Kauffman Stadium and taking a tour.  The tour consisted of the dugout, interview room, press box, dugout suite, Hall of Fame museum, and several different suites. The first stop was the Hall of Fame Museum.

They just took the tarp off the field last week so they are trying to get it ready for opening day.

We took the kids to the Westport Flea Market to get a delicious hamburger since they had never been.
