We had appetizers and drinks at The Brick and dinner at Roni's Pub.

Happy Easter

Snow on Easter morning...instead of a white Christmas this year we got a white Easter.

My sister-in-law found out that Michael and Dylan are still in California so she invited Cass and I for Easter dinner. It was delicious and it was so nice that we didn't have to sit at home.

I tried to get Mason to sit in the Easter basket and take a picture but he informed that it was NOT going to happen.

Girls Day

The boys are in California so Cass and I had a little fun ourselves.  We went to a movie at Cinetopia.  

Loved watching the movie in the recliners.

After the movie, we ate lunch at Cocobolos and Cass said it was the best lunch ever.

Then off to get our nails done!!

We had a great day!

Mason was jealous so we took him for a ride.

Now we are ready for some KU basketball. Can't wait for our next girls day.

Mother/Daughter Outing

Tonight Stacie and I took the girls to the Plaza and did a little shopping and ate dinner at Buca di Beppo. This was much different than my mother/son outing last night.

Kylie had four servings of spaghetti.  She LOVED it!

Then we walked around the Plaza and had to stop and get a bunny pic.

We got in the car to come home just in time!!

Mother/Son Outing

Tonight Lorie and I took the boys to Top Golf and we beat them the first game. They were not impressed!!

After golf we took them out to dinner to Red Door Woodfire Kitchen and Grill and it was so good. The boys agreed that we should have mother/son outings every month.

Chip and Joanna Gaines at the Home Show

Cass and I were so excited to see Chip and Joanna from the HGTV show Fixer Upper at the KC Home Show.  Michael got us there at 10am to get a good seat even though they didn't go on stage until noon.  They were so awesome and we loved every minute of it. Chip is hilarious!!

Happy girls!!!  Now we want to go to Waco, TX to go to Magnolia Market.

Sad it is the last day of spring break but at least we had a good one!

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

So what do you do on a breezy 45 degree day in March? Well, Lorie and I went on an Adult Easter egg hunt at KC Wine Co.

I was hoping this was the egg with a big prize in it but it was not.

Then they had a wine tasting with Easter candy.

Lorie and I had a great time but we would have liked it to be about 30 degrees warmer.
