Branson Weekend

We were so lucky that we had a gorgeous weekend in Branson.

Our first stop before Branson is always Osceola Cheese. Lots and lots of samples!!

Thursday night we checked into our hotel and headed for dinner at Hook and Ladder Pizza. The menu is on part of a fire truck.

They even had firefighter clothes if you wanted to dress up while eating your pizza.

Friday was a great day at Silver Dollar City!!  Since it was a Friday, no lines for the rides.

It was a anniversary weekend, so Cass took our picture at the anniversary frame.

They are both are so happy when we are at Silver Dollar City.

Powder Keg...one of their favorite rides.

Getting pumped up for Wildfire.

Cass and I had to make a stop at the Christmas store.

I love all of the fall decorations.

They were trying to re-create a pic from the first time Dylan rode this ride.

We love Silver Dollar City!

Saturday we started off the day at Billy Gail's Cafe. Best breakfast place!!  Michael and I were also celebrating 22 years of marriage.

We have driven by the Hollywood Wax museum lots of times and we finally decided to stop.  We took some fun pictures and had a really good time.

Forest Gump

Channing Tatum

A little playboy bunny fun!

Oh, Michael!

Elvis and Marilyn Monroe

Some "thriller" action

Elvira

Katy Perry

The closest Cass will ever get to Justin Timberlake.

Men in Black

Titanic

At the alter with George Clooney

Then we enjoyed Hannah's House of mirrors. Castle of Chaos was stupid!

We played miniature golf also. Whoops I threw the score card away!

I guess keeping score was a waste of time.

The boys enjoyed doing the extreme go-carts.

Buy one breakfast buffet, get one half price...not bad at all!!

Last night we enjoyed our first country jubilee show in Branson.

Another Branson trip in the books!!

Homecoming 2016

I was able to get a quick shot before Cass went off to work.

Dylan putting Nicole's corsage on. Pretty easy!!!

Dylan's was a different story. It took a zip tie, two safety pins and a bobby pin. Hope it lasts through dinner!

Dylan and Nicole

Now they are headed to Hereford House and then the dance!

Porchfest KC

Michael and I enjoyed a nice afternoon at the Porchfest KC.  There were 40 different porches with all kinds of bands. They changed bands every few hours with a total of 140 bands.  The weather was perfect and it was very relaxing. Here are some of the bands on porches:

We suck at selfies!!

Then we had lunch at the KC BBQ Truck.

Another nice Fall day!!

National Cheeseburger Day

We tried a new recipe tonight. Michael made beer can bacon cheeseburgers and they were yummy! We stuffed them with grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese and Michael made sauce to put on top of them.

Happy National Cheeseburger Day!!
