SkyZone Birthday Party

Dylan had his party at Sky Zone.  It is an indoor trampoline park and it was lots of fun.

My friend Ann came along and we had lots and lots of laughs.  (like when we got stuck in the foam pit)

Thank goodness Michael did not try any tricks.

We all survived the sleepover!  Now off to Wal-Mart to spend his $30 cash and $15 Wal-Mart card.

Undefeated~Champions

The 6th grade Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars won first place today. They were undefeated this season! Good job boys!!

Happy Happy Birthday!  Dylan was excited to get a brand new basketball, NIKE elite socks, IPOD dock and a case of his favorite root beer.

Mason was excited about the new basketball also.

He loved it!

After football practice Dylan wanted to go to the Great Wall Chinese Buffet for his birthday dinner.

He also talked us into taking him to Dairy Queen.

I can not believe next year we will have two teenagers in the house.

October 31

Today is extra special because we get to celebrate Halloween and Michael's birthday.  My day started off by watching Dylan's Halloween Parade.  They walk so fast I can barely take the picture.

Before Dylan's party I took Michael to Sweet Siam Thai Bistro for lunch. It was really good. After lunch I was a room parent for the sixth grade party.  I made witch hat cookies and little smokies.

Dylan has decided to work in a haunted house this year instead of trick or treating.

I walked through the haunted house and he scared me and probably loved it.

Happy Birthday Michael!!  What a great gift!  I made homemade meatballs, twice baked potatoes and a peanut butter chocolate chip pie for his birthday meal.

Cass and Lili are hanging out tonight.  They are supposed to be dressed up like Harry and Louis from "One Direction".

Now I think I will have some sangria and watch Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO  for the first time.  Finally I get to sit! (except when I have to answer the door for the darn kids dressed up in costumes)

KU Basketball

We all went to Allen Fieldhouse for the first time and watched some KU basketball. The energy in that place was awesome!!  The thought Cass was going to cry when she saw Bill Self walk out onto the court.

I did not get any good pictures of the game because we were to far away but it was a great win 88-54.

Weekend Festivities

Our fun weekend started on Friday when we all had the day off. Michael took us to City Fish which has the best fried catfish in the city.  Then we went and saw the movie "Frankenweenie".

Here you go friends (who like my recipes) these are my new recipes.  Bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches, Fall sangria, 8 can taco soup, chocolate chip cookie bars with cookie dough frosting, jalapeno popper quiche, sour cream lemon cookies with lemon frosting, monster magic cookie bars and jalapeno pimento cheese.

Now off to Dylan's football game!  Two more to go then basketball season! YAY

Mammogram Day

It was time for our annual mammagram so Sheila and I decided to go together to make it fun. (or just tolerable)

Then after the big squeeze we went to Starbucks!
