This morning Cass and I went to the T.A.K.E defense training by the Ali Kemp Foundation. T.A.K.E. Defense Training provides girls and women of all ages with unique reality-based, hands-on self-defense training. It was a wonderful experience and as a woman and a mom I feel that it is my responsibility to learn how to protect myself and make sure my daughter knows how to also. We will definitely be attending more trainings!!

Nice Day Off
It was nice to have the day off today since we got home late last night from the LADY GAGA concert. Cass and Dylan both had a half day of school so they were happy also. After Mason and I picked the kids up from school we got a movie and some movie candy and had a nice relaxing afternoon.
I need to catch up on posting my recipes so here it goes: Crockpot Spicy Chili, lunch lady brownies, peanut butter cookie dough dip, crab stuffed portabello mushrooms with horseradish sauce, Key West Chicken, green chile and pepper jack cheese chicken enchiladas,NY Times chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon bites, and citrus and mint bourbon sparkler.
LADY GAGA
Last night we had some Arnott family fun by going out to dinner at John's Big Deck and then to the LADY GAGA concert.
She is one crazy lady but it was a great show!!

Dylan with his friend Katie
Dylan had his friend Katie over and they watched a movie, made snow cones, made popcorn and played cards. He bought her a carnation and Junior Mints with his own money!

Puppy Love
Never in a million years did I imagine that I would love a puppy so much.
I also never imagined making homemade doggy treats either. I made Mason and his friends some bow-wow bagels with carrot cream cheese. I am sure my friend Ann S. is laughing at me now.
Mason loved the cream cheese!
Then the bagel!
Alright so I did make my family a bacon and brie quiche, creamy chicken stew today and I made my work friends a southern pecan praline cake with butter sauce. Mason is not the only one I cooked for.

Lovely Day Off
I absolutely loved my day off today. I accomplished nothing!!!
I surprised Dylan at school by bringing him Mr. Goodcents for lunch so I guess I accomplished one thing.
Since Daddy-O is gone we ordered pizza from Sarpino's and it was delicious. Just a few minutes ago Cass made homemade brownies. YUMMY
What a relaxing day!
