Today was a great day to go to Schlitterbahn. It was cloudy but no rain!

A Fun Day With Family

My sister and her family came to visit today. My brother-in-law's sister from Germany and her two daughters came also.

Then we took them to eat some Kansas City BBQ.  We went to Arthur Bryant's at the Legends.

Date Night with REO Speedwagon and Chicago

Tonight we had a wonderful date night at Starlight. We saw REO Speedwagon and Chicago in concert.

At the end of the concert REO Speedwagon and Chicago came on stage and played several songs together and it was pretty awesome.

Oh no... Michael Has a New Hobby

Motley Crue Concert

Cass bought her daddy Motley Crue tickets for Father's Day and last night was the concert. It was kind of a cluster at the beginning because we stood outside of the Sprint Center for an hour before they would let us in. Then when we got inside it was another 30 minutes before they let people find their seats. The concert was suppose to start at 7pm and it started at 8:38pm. They apparently were having technical difficulties. We were NOT happy!

Once Motley Crue started then we were happy again.

Tommy Lee did a drum solo on this roller coaster looking thing and it was going upside down.  That was really cool!

We did not have good seats at all but it was still fun.

They did their encore on a little stage closer to us.

Since I went to bed at 1am and had a full day of training, I will be going to bed early.  I am exhausted!

Hot Dog Festival at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

Today we enjoyed going through the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and some hot dogs at the hot dog festival.

The boomstick hot dog and some Monarch hot dogs.  The Monarch hot dog had shredded pork on it so it was my favorite. (I am normally not a hot dog person)

That was one big hot dog!

Trying to find a way to eat the darn thing.

They finally broke it in half so they could eat it easier.

What a mess!

OneRepublic Concert at Starlight Theater

It was a beautiful evening for an outdoor concert. Cass and I saw OneRepublic at Starlight Theater and we had pretty good seats. I didn't even have to watch the big screen.
