Sump Pump

We have had lots of rain around here which means the patio is not finished yet and there has been lots of water in the basement. Michael decided we needed a sump pump immediately since there is more rain in the forecast. It took some teamwork but we now have a wonderful sump pump.

Fun with my sister

I had the day off today and I was able to pick my sister up from the airport and spend three hours with her before her flight to NYC. We started off by getting a Starbucks and then shopping at HARRY AND DAVID. Cass and Dylan had no idea my sister was in town so we decided to surprise them and take them pizza for lunch at school. They were so excited because they love Auntie 'M'. After lunch, my sister headed back to the airport with her friend Dory. I know we only had three hours but I really enjoyed our day! Have fun in NYC sister and buy me something.

Spring Time

We saw these beautiful tulips as we were driving down the street and we pulled over and I made the kids get out so I could take a picture. Of course Cass was worried about her hair and Dylan was not real happy about getting his picture taken but I thought it turned out cute.

Frozen Custard

The weather is finally perfect!!!! Michael is in Texas and we decided to go get frozen custard at Sheridan's. Every time Grandma and Grandpa come visit we have to take them to get frozen custard and we get points on a card. Well, with their help we had enough points for free custard. Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa. Of course Sheridan's did tell us they are not doing points anymore.

Rain Gear

Dylan thought he needed to be protected from the rain when he helped Michael with the patio.

Rain or Shine

We woke up this morning listening to the rain. It was nice to know that I did not have to jump out of bed and go anywhere. Michael has been working very hard on the patio and I thought he would have the day off since it was raining. Apparently, he had already planned on the rain and the canopy was set up and he was ready to go. Thanks honey for working so hard!!!!!!!

Spring Project

What a beautiful day! Michael and Dylan decided to start a big spring project. (level the patio) Michael thinks it will take about a month to finish it. I am sure it will go well into the summer months.
