Stacey rode with us to the game and Alysha met us there and Dylan was so excited!!

Now I am ending the day by making apple toffee blondies with brown sugar frosting.

Wine Barn and Vineyard (Guest Blogger)

Stacey Habrich here....guest blogger!

Tonight we went to Wine Barn and Vineyard!  They had GREAT wines....we tried a Chardonnay and a Rose!  Delish!  We decided that the Chardonnay was the best of the two.....AFTER having pizza and the Rose wine twice!

Mike and Nicole.....the wonderful couple!

Delicious wine!  I even bought one to stock up my wine collection!

My FIRST Jack in the Box experience......I will have to say it is the most RANDOM menu EVER.....yet delicious!  As Ann pointed out.....our food choices tonight were all over the place, pizza and wine at the winery and then tacos, hashbrowns, egg rolls, and churros to top it off!

Tacos=SO good.....yet they are the flattest thing ever!

All in all...great night!  So relaxing and good friend time!

Life Changing Weekend

Well, we have a new addition to our family! We adopted a puppy named Mason.  He is our first pet ever!  We surprised the kids and they both cried when we brought him home.  Thanks Sheila, Pete and Katie for helping us! We love him!

I think we wore him out.

Mason

My parents also came this weekend but our plans got changed when we found out we were getting a puppy.  I did have time to take them to We B Nuts and Stuff to get some yummy snacks for Dylan's football game.

Dylan also did his own experiment.  He popped popcorn in his homemade aluminum foil popcorn popper.  Yes, he had it over a flame of a candle.

It worked!!

What a life changing weekend!!  The kids are so excited that we finally have a pet!
