Trip to Boone Hall Plantation Before Heading Home

Before heading to the airport, we had time to tour Boone Hall Plantation (America's most photographed plantation).

Three hundred year old oak trees.

Slave cabins

We then had lunch at Jack's Cosmic Dogs.

Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge... a cable-stayed bridge

A couple of pics driving through Charleston, SC.

Another vacation over way too quickly.

Last Day in Myrtle Beach

We started off the day by going to Southern Sunrise Pancake House.

Then Michael stopped at the Christmas Mouse so I could buy a vacation ornament.

I buy a Christmas ornament on every vacation representing where we have traveled.

Then Cass and I enjoyed a Starbucks coffee while the boys got ready for their adventure.

Dylan messing around before they headed for their ATV tour.

The boys put on old clothes and headed to an ATV tour of the backwoods.

It was a two hour tour  and they got a little messy...

Thank goodness I did not go.

While the boys were getting dirty, Cass and I took a walk on the longest wooden pier on the east coast.

Right when we got to the end, we saw a man catch a baby shark.

And then we saw a woman catch a blue crab.

We also enjoyed some beach time.  I collected sea shells while I was sitting in my beach chair.

I love the view!!

We all went on our last evening walk on the beach. It was beautiful but windy.

Several jelly fish were on the beach.

Then Dylan decided to jump in one last time with his clothes on.

That's my boy!

Day Three... Myrtle Beach

We had a great time at Alligator Adventure.  They had so many alligators and some crocodiles.

We got to touch a two year old alligator.

Albino alligator

She was born without a tail.

Then we got to see feeding time for the alligators.

Thank goodness the alligator was fake.

Lots and lots of alligators

We had lunch at a food truck called Mikes Minis.  They had absolutely wonderful hamburgers and fries.

Then back to the beach.

Run Dylan Run

Cass enjoying the sun.

I had a very sophisticated cup and cup holder on the beach.

Time to roll over!

A frozen lemonade cart on the beach.

Dylan was done for the day.

For our evening entertainment, we went to the Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show.

Ready for the show to start.

Of course we had some beverages.

I loved that they had a real sea lion on stage.

Please don't give Dylan any ideas!

Pictures of the show and set

It was a great show and the food was delicious also.

Then the perfect evening routine... hot tub and then bed.
