A Day in the Life of a Spoiled Dog

I will be the first to admit that Mason is a spoiled rotten dog and it's my fault!

He loves to cuddle with me everyday.

Watching for squirrels out the back door.

Cuddling again!!

"Why do you keep taking pictures of me?"

"Seriously, the flash is making me go blind."

Watching Dylan mow the grass.

My boys!

The kids call this a Mason sandwich.

Cass loving her pup.

I told you he was SPOILED!!

Margarita Time

We had margarita time with my in-laws tonight at Frontera's.  It has been a lazy rainy Saturday so it was nice to get out when it was dry.

Now it is comfy clothes and movie time!!

Shawnee Mission Northwest Plant Sale

Cass is taking Environmental Education so she had to work the plant sale for a test grade.  Tonight parents were invited to shop and get a 10% discount.

Environmental Ed. had to plant everything you see in this greenhouse.

We made a purchase so Cass will be planting these for us.

Hope we don't kill them!

Ann Sirois BBQ

We had an "Ann Sirois BBQ". Ann told me that she was coming into town and wanted to get together with some old friends and wanted it to be at my house.  It was a perfect evening for this fun event.

Friends just chatting away!

Stacey was drinking pretty heavily! She has four more weeks to go.

Adam and Alysha came after we took the group photo but I am so glad they made it to the party.

Sheila and Pete drove in from Illinois to join us.

Me and the guest of honor

Never a dull moment with these two!!

We need to do this every year!

New Patio

We finally decided to get rid of our brick patio so Dylan could have a flat surface to play basketball on. The first thing was taking the big tree out.

The yucky brick patio.

We had a nice family that wanted the bricks so one morning they removed them all.

Our new patio/basketball court.

Dylan loves it!!

And we already got it dirty!!

Our Fabulous Weekend in Arizona

Michael and I had so much fun visiting my college roommate Tara and her husband Mitch. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Me and Tara

It was an absolutely beautiful weekend also.  Maybe we should move to Arizona.

This picture was taken in their backyard.

We sat outside almost the whole day Saturday by their pool.

Saturday evening Michael and Mitch sang to us.  Crazy men!

Sunday morning, Tara and I went for a little hike.

Our view

It was a nice little hike and we didn't even see any snakes.

The next three pictures were views from the trail.

I was sad to leave because it was one of the best weekends that I have had in a LONG time.  Miss you already Tara and Mitch!!

Royals Opening Day

This was the first Opening Day game for me, Cass and Dylan. The crowd at the World Series Game was so much better. The fans were there to watch the game and not party like today.

I did get goosebumps as they rolled out the American flag and put up the American League Championship flag.

Woo hoo! Opening Day!

These boxes were filled with balloons.

Go Royals!

It took an hour to get to the stadium with all of the traffic so we didn't have time to tailgate. We ate nachos in a helmet for lunch.

It was a fun day with the family!! Oh, yea we WON!!!

Happy Easter

Before the unveiling of the Easter baskets, I made cream cheese pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast.

Mason loved his new treats.

Dylan checking out his goodies.

Dylan was trying to get Mason's new bunny toy and Mason was not going to let go.

Cass opening up her chocolate to share.

This was the first year with no egg hunt but they still wanted a basket.

The boys decided to come up with a way to mow the grass without pushing the mower today.

Getting excited for opening day tomorrow.

Our grilled pork tenderloin, grilled asparagus and crispy parmesan potatoes will be dinner tonight.

Happy Easter!!
