Last Day of 2015

We had so much fun at TopGolf (indoor driving range). Of course, Michael won at every game so the rest of us competed against each other.

The driving range with targets.

Yep, even I hit it in the targets.

Cass and I enjoyed beating each other at the driving range.

Family fun times

Then for lunch we ate at BurgerFi and the onion rings were bigger than my burger and it was yummy!

Dylan went to a party tonight and Cass will be spending some time with us and Mason watching movies...

by the fire!!

Happy New Year's Eve!

KC Soda Co.

We went to the KC Soda Co. where they have 1300 varieties of soda. I actually thought the place would be more impressive.

Kylie and Cass both got strawberry soda even though they had lots to choose from.

At least we got out of the house today.

Our First Snow of the Winter

Finally, we got our first snow of the winter on December 28.

Snow paw prints

Mason just barked at the snow.

Then he cuddled up to his bunny and took a nap.

Cass made delicous homemade cinnamon chai tea lattes. They were so good and perfect to have on a cold snowy day.

Here is the recipe. (we used 1% milk)

We didn't want to leave the house again (Michael took us to Sushi Uni for lunch) so we played games this afternoon. Mason wanted to play Jenga with us.

He REALLY wanted to play with us.

I was so happy that the kids wanted to play games with me.

Dang Dylan!!!

We also played UNO, GUESS WHO?, and BATTLESHIP.

We enjoyed some creamy potato soup for dinner and it is almost movie time.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!

Mason loved his new candy cane bone that was in his stocking.

After we opened our stockings, Michael made donuts and we dipped them in cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar or maple glaze.  They went perfect with our sausage egg casserole.

Dylan was so excited to get a retro Royals jacket.

Cass and her UGG boots.

Mason and his toys and bone.

Everyone in this house got something related to Royals and we didn't want to leave Mason out.

I love relaxing by the fire and the Christmas tree...

and drinking coffee out of my new coffee cup.

Love my new bracelets!

Michael made prime rib and it was outstanding.

Prime rib, mashed potatoes, green beans, dressing, rolls and trillionaire bars for dessert.

Merry Christmas!

Holiday Lights on Farmstead Lane

It happened again!! The four of us were together for a few hours and we went out to dinner at Roni's Pub (thanks Kelly for the groupon) and it was delicious. Then we enjoyed the holiday lights on Farmstead Lane at Deanna Rose Farmstead.

Lunch at Caenen Castle

Michael took me to lunch at Renee Kelly's Harvest at Caenen Castle today. It was built in 1907 and it would be so much fun to live there. Here is a little history: Caenen Castle.

A Terrific Tuesday

French press coffee, cinnamon roll lasagna and presents makes a great start to the day.

Yep, the cinnamon roll lasagna was really good but time consuming to make.

Thanks Kelly for my presents! This is what you call a terrific Tuesday!

A Marvelous Monday

It was a marvelous Monday!! This morning I made coconut balls, chocolate covered pretzels, peanut clusters and fudge. I made peanut butter balls and sugar cookies the other day but they are already gone.

I put on our Christmas pillow cases that my sister-in-law made for us.  They are adorable!

Tonight the four of us went to Artego Pizza for dinner and then we drove through the Plaza to see the beautiful lights. I was so excited that the kids were not too busy to hang out with us.

We stopped at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park before heading home and walked the trail.

Now it is time for a Santa's Little Helper Martini and relax in my chair for the rest of the evening.
