Bonfire

Tonight was the Shawnee Mission Northwest bonfire and pep rally. Tomorrow is the first varsity football game. GO COUGARS!!

I have tried three new recipes in two days and I have enjoyed them all.

Family Gathering!

Today I made coffee cake muffins for breakfast before I started cleaning the house for our family gathering.

I was also in charge of making dessert so I made chocolate whoopie pies with a cake batter buttercream frosting. YUM-OLA

I played with my new camera today so I wanted to post some of the good ones.

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y

This morning I knew Michael was in the basement but I kept hearing things from the garage. I opened the door and this is what I saw!

Dylan was drilling holes in pieces of wood for the Christmas light display all by himself. I am so proud he had his safety goggles on!!

Then I saw these at the grocery store and since the package said NEW I bought them. Pretty yummy!

Tonight we took Cass out for dinner at Ixtapa since Dylan is spending the night at Joshua's house.

Now it is movie time!!!

Tasso's Greek Restaurant

Tonight was our double date with Ann and Ricky and we ate delicious Greek food at Tasso's.

Freshmen Mixer

Cass went to a freshmen mixer tonight and had lots of fun and even met some new friends.

I still can not believe my baby girl is a freshmen.

Katy Perry Concert

Last night Cass and I went to the Katy Perry Concert and had a great time! Cass made us matching shirts to wear. I never imagined that at age 40 I would wear a shirt with glow in the dark puff paint. (the things you do for your children)

First Day of School

My baby girl is officially in high school and I have no idea where the time has gone.

40 is Fun!!

Last night I celebrated my birthday with family and friends at Sharks. I had so much fun and I want to thank all of you who helped me celebrate the big 4-0. I even had several friends and family that drove some distance to get to the party. My sister and my friends Tom and Julie drove 6 hours and Linc and my parents drove 4 hours and Tim drove 3 hours. It really does mean a lot to me.
