Catching Up!

I have been lazy and have not posted for a few days. Tonight we went out with Betty and Tony to a restaurant called El Patron. It was absolutely delicious!! It might be my new favorite mexican restaurant.

Last Saturday we had the Arnott Family Christmas Light Show and my friend Tim came up from Wichita to see the show.  My friend Katie surprised me and came to the show but I did not even get a picture of us.  Thanks Katie and Danny for surprising me!

Some of the treats I made for the light show were peppermint mocha brownies (new favorite brownie), homemade hot chocolate with homemade frozen whipped cream. (pictured below)

We put the Christmas tree up and so far Mason hasn't noticed!!

Glad this week is over and I can't believe tomorrow is December!  Lots of fun things happening in the next few weeks.

Free 3-D Movie

This morning I got up and made mini caramel rolls that were delicious. Then off to see "Rise of the Guardians" in 3-D with my free passes. It was such a great movie and it was Kelly's first 3-D movie.

Now I need to finish packing for Key West.

Injury

Dylan strained his groin muscle so he needs to take it easy. No basketball practice tonight and no game on Sunday. Dylan is not happy. (maybe a little that he gets to use crutches for a couple of days.) Thank goodness he will not need his crutches on vacation next week.

The Arnott Boys

SkyZone Birthday Party

Dylan had his party at Sky Zone.  It is an indoor trampoline park and it was lots of fun.

My friend Ann came along and we had lots and lots of laughs.  (like when we got stuck in the foam pit)

Thank goodness Michael did not try any tricks.

We all survived the sleepover!  Now off to Wal-Mart to spend his $30 cash and $15 Wal-Mart card.

Undefeated~Champions

The 6th grade Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars won first place today. They were undefeated this season! Good job boys!!

Happy Happy Birthday!  Dylan was excited to get a brand new basketball, NIKE elite socks, IPOD dock and a case of his favorite root beer.

Mason was excited about the new basketball also.

He loved it!

After football practice Dylan wanted to go to the Great Wall Chinese Buffet for his birthday dinner.

He also talked us into taking him to Dairy Queen.

I can not believe next year we will have two teenagers in the house.
