Happy Birthday Michael

Tonight we went to K-Macho's to celebrate Michael's birthday.  They even sang Happy Birthday to him.

K-Macho's make homemade tortillas that are delicous.

Michael wanted to open his one and only present (his World Series tickets were his real present) in the garage while drinking a beer.  He got a pair of Reebok Crossfit shorts.

Now he has a new pair of shorts to wear to Crossfit.

Happy Birthday to the best Husband and Dad a family could ask for!!  Now we are going to watch a movie and relax the rest of the evening.

World Series Game 7

Dylan wore this cape to school because it was Royals Day.

Dylan and Michael got on the jumbo-tron.  Dylan is holding his big crown.

The outcome was not what we wanted but no one can take away all the memories.

Mammogram Day

Today was mammogram day! I am so glad Sheila and I go together every year.

In the waiting room there were several bras decorated so while I was waiting for my results I took some pictures.  

I love this one!

We both had good news today! YIPPEE! Good friends are like bras, they are supportive, always make you look good, always lift you up, never leave you hanging, and are always close to your heart.

Fabulous Fall Day with Friends

We started our day off at Louisburg Cider Mill to eat apple cider donuts and drink fresh apple cider.

Then we went on a little wine tour. Our first stop was White Wind Farms Winery.

We had a taste testing and I only liked one wine there.

Our next stop was NightHawk Vineyard and Winery.  Their wine was better.

Our favorite stop was Somerset Ridge Winery.  We had a little picnic with cheese, sausage and crackers and we purchased some wine.

What a great day with friends!!

World Series Watch Party

Tonight we had a World Series Watch Party!  

My friend Sheila made a bandana for Mason with a baseball mitt and a "GoTeam".  Thanks Sheila!

Mason got to spend the evening with his best friend Leo.  They were bored with the game also.

Let's hope tomorrow nights game is better.

GO ROYALS

We took a few family pics by the JC Nichols Fountain. We love that the whole city is celebrating the Royals. The blue dyed fountains are awesome.

Even the fountain by our house is blue.

The boys are off to see a World Series game. I am sure they will have a memorable experience.
