Ree Drummond...Pioneer Woman

Cass and I went to Vintage White Market to see Ree Drummond/Pioneer Woman. After 5 long hours we got to see her for 5 seconds but hey we met her.

I love her blog and cookbooks.

Two nights in a row we had an outdoor event and it waited until we got home before it started raining.

Luke Bryan Concert

Cass and I had a GREAT time seeing Luke Bryan. He was so awesome and of course very nice to look at.  

Pretty darn good seats

Little Big Town was the opening band and they were good also.

Luke Bryan was AMAZING!

And HOT!!

We were worried about the weather but we were so lucky and it didn't rain until we got home.

I have not purchased a concert t-shirt and years (and I mean lots of years) but I just wanted Luke close to my heart. :)

Dylan's First Day of Sophomore Year

Dylan has never been so excited for the first day of school ever but I guess if you get to drive a jeep to school without a parent it is pretty cool.

Then he sends me this pic from the school parking lot. He only left 40 minutes before school started and it is only a three minute drive but hey he got a great parking spot by his friend hunter. Jeep buddies!!

I can't believe he is already a sophomore and driving to school!

Birthday Fun

I walked into the office at 7am and my co-workers had decorated the office and it made my day!! I had donuts and then we had lunch at Pizza Shoppe.  I love my co-workers!

When I came home the children treated me to an iced coffee from Starbucks, a new t-shirt and Dylan made me a two layer chocolate cake. Michael is out of town so the kids did a great job taking care of me.

How many 15 year old boys make their mom a two layer cake for their birthday?? I am pretty lucky!

Then my children took me to Zio's for dinner

AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY!!!!!  I was so surprised!! I think my children love me!

Remodeling the Kids Bathroom FINALLY

We have lived in our house for 14 years and have never changed the kids bathroom. Nasty green shag carpet and green tile and duct tape on the tile in the shower are officially gone. 

Green tile around sink, green flowery wallpaper, gold hanging lights and green shag carpet...yikes

BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

YAY! Green shag carpet is gone!
