Hot Fudge Sauce

Cass brought home another good recipe from her foods class. It was called Factory Fudge Sauce. All you need is 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butter, 2/3 cup sugar, 5 oz. evaporated milk and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

Read the recipe carefully before you start!

Put the chocolate chips and butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Heat until chocolate and butter are melted, stirring constantly.

Stir in sugar. Add evaporated milk, a little at a time, stirring well until well-mixed. Turn to medium-high heat and bring mixture to boiling, stirring occasionally. Turn to low heat and boil gently, uncovered, for 8 minutes, stirring most of the time.

Remove saucepan from heat. Carefully add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Stir well. Serve warm over ice cream with favorite toppings.

Cass do you like the hot fudge sauce or the whipped cream the best????
