Karaoke at Hurricane Allie's Bar and Grill

First of all, I would like to thank my teachers for giving me a Hurricane Allie's groupon because I probably would never of gone.

Hurricane Allie's Bar and Grill looks a little scary on the outside but it was nice and clean on the inside and the DJ for karaoke was great!

Dylan asked if the two of us could spend some time together without Cass and daddy. Of course I said YES because I know that I am not going to be cool to hang out with very soon!!

We went to Johnny's Tavern for some scrumptious pizza.

Then we came home and set up a tent in the garage because is was suppose to rain.

Mason joined us for awhile and even took a little nap in the tent.

We played a game of Yatzee.

We tried to watch a movie but I was ready to say "goodnight".  I slept soooo good and Dylan said that he kept on waking up.

Apparently his best sleeping time was 7:30am.

This morning we did some shopping at Oak Park Mall and I bought him a new hat.

Now I think he is ready to spend time with his friends.

What's Next??

Seriously! Krispy Kreme Doughnuts now have cake batter filled doughnuts and brownie batter filled doughnuts. The kids have been begging to try them for weeks so I decided they could have them for dessert.

Futbol Club Eatery and Tap

In the spirit of the World Cup, we decided to go pick up my friend Sheila and go to the Futbol Club Eatery and Tap for dinner.  Mexico and Croatia were playing and when Mexico won there were lots of yelling and cheering.  It was kind of cool to see everyone so excited.

Happy First Day of Summer

It's officially summer time so it was a perfect time to grill and spend time on the deck with friends. Tony and Liam really enjoyed the arcade game.

Here are my new recipes I tried tonight: cheesy sausage stuffed mushrooms, fruity summer sangria, peanut butter cookie dough cups and cream cheese cake mix cookies.

High School Buddies

Today I got to watch my baby girl host a party for my high school buddies Lance and Dana!  I haven't see them in a couple of years and we only live a few miles from each other.  

It was great seeing them and now we need to get together soon.

Friday Night Fun with Friends

Several of my friends met at Longbranch Steakhouse to eat dinner and watch the band "Switch". I love that band!!  We sat out on the deck and it was a beautiful evening.

Date Night at Drunken Fish

Well, we had to check out the brand new Johnny's Tavern first before going out to dinner.  They have shuffleboard. Yay!!

Then off to eat sushi at Drunken Fish and have a yummy cocktail.

I am allergic to shrimp, avocados, and cucumbers and Michael always orders sushi without these things.  I am stuffed!!

Now I am going to go make brownie batter dip for "dip day" at work tomorrow.

Skyrobics

Tonight we decided to be adventurous and try something new.  Cass, Kelly and I went to skyrobics at Sky Zone.  We put on our beautiful Sky Zone socks and worked out on the trampolines for an hour.

We survived! (barely) Holy cow what a workout! I hope I can move tomorrow.

My Day Off

Dylan and Cass made homemade fudgsicles.

 Of course Dylan made Cass pour the hot liquid into the containers.

 They were pretty good!

 Then Cass had to go to De Cloud Studios to get her Senior yearbook picture taken.

 Happy Hour at Sonic so Dylan could get a blue raspberry slush with nerds.  YUCK

Cass made buffalo chicken lasagna in the crockpot for dinner and it was so good!

Back to reality tomorrow!  At least I got some vacation shopping done because Cancun, Mexico is right around the corner.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Michael!!  Thanks for being an absolutely wonderful father to our children. This morning we had a Father's Day breakfast at The Big Biscuit.

Cass surprised her daddy with Motley Crue tickets. (actually the whole family will be going)

Michael loves peanut butter so I made a triple peanut butter cookie pie.

We had a nice dinner with Michael's dad tonight.  Michael grilled chicken, bacon wrapped asparagus, and I made twice baked potatoes and baked triple cheese and salsa dip.
