Flying Over the Grand Canyon, Walking Through Antelope Canyon and Rafting in the Colorado River at Glen Canyon

Today was an amazing day! We left the hotel at 5:45am to drive to the Grand Canyon Airport. (It was a 5 minute drive)  We had to be there by 6 so we could get ready to board our little plane.

On our five minute drive we had three elk sitings.

Thank goodness he didn't run out in front of our car.

Here is the little plane we boarded to fly over the Grand Canyon.

Cass and Dylan ready for the adventure.

Lake Powell

Whew! We made it to land and next stop Antelope Canyon.

We hopped on the back of this truck and headed to Antelope Canyon.

Antelope Canyon was absolutely amazing!!!

It was such a beautiful walk to the other end of the canyon.

In the middle of Antelope Canyon.

After our tour of Antelope Canyon we jumped on a motorized raft that took us through Glen Canyon.

They fed us a box lunch on the raft.

Excited about our three hour tour.

Beautiful Glen Canyon

Petroglyphs... some were 2000 years old.

This one was around 9000 years old.

Michael standing in the cold Colorado River.

Cass barely put her feet in because it was so cold.

Michael lost a bet with a ten year old so he got to dive into the 47 degree water.

It was a little chilly.

We had a long three hour bus ride back but we got to stop and get snacks and buy souvenirs.

It was a long fun day but it looks like my family is worn out.

After our 12 hour tour we drove another hour to spend the night in Williams, Arizona.

We grabbed some dinner at this cute little diner.

Talk about a whirlwind trip! We made a lot of memories and were able to see a lot of beautiful things.
